1. Educational Vision:

Hariri High School III aspires to develop an intellectually and culturally empowered generation that is aware of its capabilities, responsive to human values, appreciative of beauty, capable of adapting to new developments, and prepared to interact positively with its surroundings. It seeks to nurture students who are committed to responsible citizenship, enabling them to become collaborative and open-minded individuals who are receptive to their community and the wider world.

2. General Educational Objectives:

• Developing the intellectual, social, emotional, and physical dimensions that shape the learner’s personality, enabling students to acquire integrated skills that contribute to building their abilities and developing their critical thinking.
• Strengthening learners’ connection to their family, school, community, and country, and promoting the principles of sound education based on the teachings of the Holy Qur’an.
• Building students’ personal independence and enhancing their ability to interact and communicate consciously with all members of the school community, thereby facilitating their later integration into the wider community.
• Continuous assessment of students’ development and performance at the end of each educational stage.
• Using technological, audiovisual, and visual means to serve as an integral part of the educational process.
• Conducting projects, preparing studies, and training groups by using and benefiting from the components of the educational curriculum.

3. School Life:

School life includes, in addition to fulfilling the approved curricula, working to enhance students’ abilities through curriculum-supporting activities and various extracurricular activities, including science, mathematics, arts, theater, music, technology, educational trips, sports, competitions, and various recreational activities. These activities aim to develop students’ personalities in an integrated manner and help them acquire skills that can be applied within the classroom to assist them in overcoming their challenges. Among the most important are:

A. General Rules:

• Full adherence to the principles of proper conduct and mutual respect in all aspects of the relationship with classmates and all school staff.
• Refraining from harassing others, whether in the form of bullying, verbal or physical assault, or political discrimination, inside the school or through social media.
• Not using social media in a manner that conflicts with the school’s directives.
• Not bringing mobile phones into the classroom.
• In the event of using inappropriate language or insulting others verbally or physically, or in the event of violating any of the school’s regulations, the following disciplinary measures shall be taken:
  • A written warning, with the student being subject to a disciplinary council.
  • A written warning, with suspension from the classroom (3 days or more).
  • A written warning, whereby the offender becomes subject to temporary or permanent dismissal.
  • If the student receives three warnings within one year or two consecutive years, the student shall not be re-enrolled for the following academic year.
  • The school may suspend the student temporarily or permanently, even without issuing three warnings, if the student commits behavior that contradicts morals, educational values, or the school’s principles.

B. General Rules Parents Are Required to Observe:

1. Respect the school’s rules and regulations.
2. Refrain from intervening in the resolution of any emergency issue and address it specifically with the appropriate member of the school team, while maintaining a respectful manner of communication and avoiding shouting, threats, or other inappropriate behavior.
3. Accept invitations to attend parent meetings when scheduled, which serve the purpose of listening to parents’ observations, as well as explaining the responsibilities and objectives required by the educational stage and the relevant class.
4. Not enter the school building without prior authorization from the school administration.
5. Pay the full cost of any damage caused by the student to school property.
6. Comply with the above-mentioned rules in order to maintain the positive relationship that connects the school with parents.

C. Regarding Students’ External Appearance and General Cleanliness:

1. Students must adhere to modest and appropriate clothing and appearance (avoiding torn trousers, open-sided clothing, and wearing a white undershirt for girls) and tie long hair for girls, while boys must maintain appropriate haircuts and trim their nails.
2. The school administration shall not be held responsible for the loss of students’ personal belongings.
3. Students must wear the sports uniform in the morning on the day they have a physical education class, with a change into sports shoes.
4. Eating food inside the classroom or chewing gum is prohibited.
5. Sending unhealthy food items is prohibited, as these constitute a particular concern when consumed by children (large-sized chips). Food should also be placed in a separate bag, in addition to a bottle of drinking water.
6. Littering on the classroom floor or playground, or defacing or damaging the school walls or school property, is prohibited.

D. School Attendance and Absence:

7. Students must adhere to the school schedule specified at the beginning of the academic year and arrive at school in the morning before the designated start time.
8. Parents are required to notify the school of their child’s absence, in accordance with the approved procedures. The school administration shall not accept any student outside these times except in emergency cases and through the approved means of communication.
9. In the event of any morning delay, and if it occurs for emergency reasons, it must not exceed 10 minutes at most. The matter shall be referred to the floor supervisor for processing and permission to enter the classroom.
10. If lateness is repeated twice, a written explanation must be submitted.
11. If absence due to illness exceeds three consecutive days, a medical report must be submitted specifying the type of illness and the necessary period of absence to avoid the spread of infection among students.
12. If an absence coincides with semester examinations, the examination shall not be repeated, and the grade shall be calculated based on the average of the previous grades.
13. Absence from examinations without a medical report shall result in the student receiving a grade of 2/20.
14. Students must comply with the required school uniform and come to school with the required school bag and stationery, without wheels.

7. School Fees and Regulations:

Hariri High School III is an educational institution affiliated with the Rafik Hariri Foundation, which adopts a policy of supporting school fees. The following matters shall be observed:

15. School fees for each academic year are determined in accordance with the applicable regulations and procedures, taking into account the requirements of sustainable development at all levels, especially educational and academic requirements, school life, the educational and administrative staff, and the school campus.
16. School fees are paid and followed up throughout the year according to a specific schedule and timeframe stated in the annual school fees statement.
17. The school administration may determine additional fees for technical educational services and extracurricular activities provided by the school to students, which shall be announced at the appropriate time.
18. The school may adjust the school fees statement and its dates for the academic year subject to amendment in light of any subsequent legislation that was not taken into consideration when preparing the fees statement.
19. The cost of school textbooks, curriculum-supporting booklets, club activities, products, and activities shall be determined at the beginning of the academic year.
20. The first installment for the upcoming academic year shall be determined and become due at the beginning of May. Any delay in its payment shall require parents to obtain written confirmation from the school that places are available before completing the registration procedures for the following academic year.
21. Failure to enroll in the school after the beginning of the academic year by 15 days without a prior or legitimate excuse shall result in registered students losing their right to school places. They shall not be granted such places after the required number of students has been reached.

4. Adhere to the school uniform and maintain an appropriate appearance.
5. Maintain the cleanliness of classrooms, school grounds, and facilities.
6. Preserve school property and refrain from any behavior that may cause damage to it.
7. Use polite language when dealing with others and avoid offensive language.
8. Refrain from all forms of physical or verbal violence or bullying.
9. Comply with classroom instructions and the directions of teachers and the administration.

Third – School Life and Activities:

First: Proper Conduct in Dealing with the Administration and Teaching Staff:

1. Adherence to proper communication etiquette and respect for the educational and administrative staff:

• Parents are required to adopt a manner of communication based on mutual respect with all members of the school’s administrative and teaching staff, whether communication takes place in person, by telephone, through electronic messages, or via communication applications.
• Any verbal abuse, obscene language, threat, defamation, aggressive manner, or behavior involving insult, intimidation, or violation of the dignity of school staff shall be considered a serious violation of the School Charter.
• The school reserves the right to take appropriate measures in accordance with the applicable regulations, including documenting the violation, restricting means of communication with the parent when necessary, and taking the appropriate legal measures to protect its employees and their rights, should the nature of the violation require such action.

Second: At the Academic Level:

1. Continuously monitor children’s behavior and academic achievement.
2. Attend educational meetings called by the school.
3. Communicate with the administration or the school psychologist to address any educational or behavioral problem.
4. Assume responsibility for any damage caused by the student to school property.

Fifth – Educational Measures in the Event of Violations:
