Message from Director General – Dr. Farah Mekkawi

Dear Students, Parents, and Members of Our Educational Community,

The beginning of every academic year is always a new beginning—a moment filled with hope, energy, and opportunity. As we embark on the 2025–2026 academic year, we come together once again with renewed enthusiasm and a sincere determination to shape new pathways that will enable our schools to grow, evolve, and shine even more brightly.

This year begins with a renewed vision that reflects continuity with our rich legacy, while embracing the courage and readiness needed to face the challenges of the future. Building on the achievements of previous years, we are now shaping a forward-looking vision that places innovation and development at the heart of our mission. Our goal is to prepare our students not only for academic success, but also for the opportunities and challenges of a rapidly changing world.

At the core of our vision remains the safety, psychological well-being, and social well-being of our students. Their health, happiness, and sense of belonging are essential foundations for meaningful learning. Education is not merely the transmission of knowledge; above all, it is the nurturing of human potential. For this reason, we place particular emphasis on social and emotional learning, cognitive and developmental skills, and the cultivation of leadership qualities, so that every student may grow to become confident in their abilities, a constructive critical thinker, and a compassionate leader.

Our approach is firmly grounded in values: positivity, integrity, and resilience. These values are pillars of both individual and collective success, and through them we seek to inspire our students to become active citizens and agents of positive change. This mission is deeply rooted in the vision of the first educator, the late President Rafik Hariri, whose educational journey continues to guide our path and illuminate our mission.

Let us work together this year—educators, families, and students—to build an environment where innovation and creativity flourish, diversity is embraced, and every child feels empowered to pursue and achieve their dreams.

With deep gratitude for your trust and partnership, and with great hope for all the goodness and generosity this year will bring, I wish you a fruitful, inspiring, and joyful academic year.

With sincere appreciation and commitment,
Dr. Farah Mekkawi

Message from School Principal – Fawzia Soubra

In the education profession, remaining current with research-based practices and significant shifts in learning is both a responsibility and a priority. At Hariri High School III, we continuously reflect on and refine our instructional approaches to ensure that learning is rigorous, meaningful, and responsive to students’ needs. This includes aligning our programs with college- and career-ready expectations while carefully selecting high-quality instructional materials that promote deep understanding, critical thinking, and durable skills.

Our educational approach is grounded in learning science and informed by contemporary frameworks that emphasize belonging, engagement, agency, and reflection. Teaching and learning at Hariri High School III are designed to nurture students’ sense of belonging, guide them toward conceptual understanding and expertise, and empower them to take an active role in their learning through authentic experiences, inquiry, and reflection. These principles shape classroom practice, assessment, and the use of educational technology to support curiosity, relevance, and student growth.

Over time, this commitment to thoughtful, student-centered practice has enabled Hariri High School III to earn and sustain the confidence of its community. Families trust the school not only for its academic outcomes, but also for its dedication to equity, opportunity, and the holistic development of every learner. We remain firmly committed to supporting our students academically, socially, emotionally, and ethically, recognizing that meaningful learning occurs when students feel valued, challenged, and empowered.

This pledge is deeply rooted in the vision of Mr. Rafik Hariri, who believed that education should be transformative, accessible, and purposeful. Guided by this mission, Hariri High School III continues to advance teaching and learning that prepares students not only for university and future careers, but also for responsible citizenship, lifelong learning, and meaningful contribution to society.
